The Wine Net at first edition of Vinexpo Shanghai

From October 23rd to 25th, The Wine Net has renewed its presence in Asia, but this time participating in the first Chinese edition of the famous Vinexpo festival, already perfectly tested in its first performance in Bordeaux.

An event that brought together 260 exhibitors, including our network, from 19 different countries, and that gave us the opportunity to dialogue with prepared and curious industry operators, while being in a nice spotlight. In fact, it has emerged that Italy will now have the spotlight it deserves, the opportunity to enlarge its market shares, thanks to an important descent of French competition. Also on this occasion, appearing strong and united was useful: “we found a greater openness to Italy, even for the lesser-known regions, such as our Abruzzo, or Sicily, and an increase in interest in the white category and of Italian-style products, with lighter packaging, which deviate from the classic wines created ad hoc for Chinese consumers. There is still a lot of work to do, the market is complex, but very different compared to a decade ago. As a network we choose their sales channels and continue to promote Italian value in all its facets” The network members said.
